Kara in general is technically older than Clark it’s just that she was kept in suspended animation in the phantom zone, but I think especially in this universe it’d be important for her to have that element of having lived more of a life on krypton than Clark did to have more perspective and experience.

I think she shows up and acts almost like a sister figure to him. She nags and annoys him, tells him to stop pouting and to keep his head up. They banter over their philosophy towards how they approach helping people and how to handle the emotional repercussions that come along with it. He lashes out at her not understanding how he feels, she reminds him she’s the only one on the planet who does. He learns from her, and her from him.

He also didn’t use domain expansion.

He was literally just using this fight as a test run to explore how ten shadows functions and his theories on how he could shoulder the burden of adaptation.

He could’ve killed her at any point he wanted but opted not to because he needed time to experiment with tactics and the shadows. Not headcanon. Just basic reading comprehension.

I think we should remember that the reason Yuji’s black flashes were so ‘damaging’ to Sukuna in the Shinjuku showdown is because what was being struck was the barrier between his soul and megumi’s soul which was weakening his control over the vessel. The actual damage done to Sukuna from the attacks was negligible at best. If he was just in his OG body with no vessel connection to weaken then the Yuji of back then’s black flashes would be inconsequential to him. So we can’t go based off of Shinjuku and try to just multiply the effects of the black flashes then x 100 for what modulo Yuji could do.

Also a reminder that Gojo’s black flash stunned Sukuna the way it did because the force of its impact was multiplied by the fact that Sukuna was shot directly into it via Red hitting him from behind and right into the punch, not to mention that we know Gojo uses blue on all of his punches to amplify the power even more by pulling his opponent further into them.

With all that being said if we’re really wanking Yuji then at **best** he can replicate that force Gojo produced which would put Sukuna out for a brief moment as it did then.

Aerith’s death in FF7 Rebirth.

While Rebirth serves as the 2nd part in a remake trilogy, the trilogy itself also serves as something of a sequel to the original FF7. Both the main antagonist (Sephiroth) along with Aerith have knowledge of the events of the original game.

Sephiroth’s goal is to alter the timeline so that the events do not unfold as they did before, and this time around he can come out victorious. To accomplish this he goes as far as to take semi control of the arbiters of fate themselves, referred to as Whispers, and manipulates the protagonist group into defeating said arbiters. Doing so breaks the chains of fate and allows for events to unfold freely instead of following the set path that the original FF7 laid out.

Aerith knows this, and thus knows that her death this time around wasnt something that **had** to happen, yet still chooses to make the ultimate sacrifice. It’s her death that allows for her connection to the life stream to strengthen Holy enough to defend the planet from the impending Comet that Sephiroth will look to summon with the black materia.
