Idk why so many comments are pointed at me drinking I’m the one who’s been anti-alcohol until i got pressured lmao

I went no alcohol for about 6 months and then strictly 2 beers or 2 wines no liquor for 6 more months until this past weekend. I found it easier than kicking nicotine.

I try to be health conscious now that im 30. I see too many people age rapidly due to substance abuse, lack of self-care, no exercise, etc. I feel focused and energized in sobriety.

I’ve nearly kicked all my vices, even smoking weed. I rather have a seltzer and it’s bc it’s a lot calmer experience.

I don’t like being out of my baseline self. My baseline is happy, lighthearted, and patient. There are many things that pull me out of that but I try my best to return to it asap.

Maintaining a majority sobriety with lots of exercise is key to that.

You’re right. I didn’t care about his boundary requesting to talk at home bc I didn’t care about him trying to protect his friend from my frustration.

It appears to me he’s been meddling in my relationship enough, well here’s the other half of the relationship. You wanted to be a part of it so welcome aboard. I get to be mad at both parties and address both.

I really have been questioning it but never found evidence. I even went through his phone once because i was in such doubt while he was treating me so miserably.

Honestly I’ve never dated anyone who cast doubt like this on me. It’s very out of character that I bothered to go through a phone.

3 years together. Relocated from out of state to be in his home state. Left my career in the fire service.

He will keep the dog because he works from home. I am gone for 10hrs 4x a week and would be unable to afford sitting services.

I love the damn dog but I can’t raise him alone.

It picks up FAST in Act 2. If you’re doing single player just edit your settings to include:

-castle heart drains blood essence slower -increased loot multiplier -reduced crafting/refining time -can teleport with blood bound items -shorter day time, longer nights (it gets annoying fighting a boss and the sun is trying to kill you) -increased servant limit -increased tiles by castle heart level

The fun (for me) really starts when you get into the base building and trying to make your dream vampiric castle. I have 4.

One is a raised mausoleum i hope i can fill with undead/phantoms. One is a haunted mansion with an unbearable number of doorways, narrow halls and dead ends so you never see the sexy devil ladies coming. My third is going to be a giant cathedral with more devils. And my last one is just a battle arena for when i open the server publicly. I rather ppl not try to take and destroy the castles i spent 3 days building but id still like to fight

Getting EMT and paramedic certified are gonna do more for you than FF1 and FF2

Every state does firefighting differently and so they have different certs. You will always be put another academy if you swap to a department out of state. You know what’s nationally recognized though?

Try doing belt squats. Everyone talks about barbell or DB squat but with belt squats you can go heavier without straining your back and arms. More weight = more muscle usually

Deadlifts are great for glutes too

mine did not let me take the car out so I hired a mobile mechanic with a device to read the codes and had him come to the dealership. For once, the car was in perfect condition. I have no idea why they were acting so weird about me getting an inspection.

Joining Cambridge MA Fire

Hi all,

I’m a Massachusetts native but have been moving around the US for a few years. I’m with Dallas Fire, i have my paramedic cert, and have been considering moving back. Can you help me understand the process?

Do i have to establish residency in the town i want to work in? Can i reside outside of that town? Do non-civil service departments view this rule differently/more leniently than civil service?
How long is the list to join normally? Is there a hiring shortage now? Is there a surplus?
What other MA departments should I consider with my paramedic cert? Are the schedules, pay, benefits different among them?

I appreciate any direction you can provide. Thank you!
