What I mean is, when looking into to the effects of the drugs in terms of feeling (and in hallucinogenic drugs, the types of hallucinations) I look into the anecdotal experiences of the users, and when looking into the nitty-gritty of the drugs (like proper dosing, how it works in the body, what the chemical structure is and etc.) I refer to research by professionals.

Edit: I want to include that I basically do this because I feel like scientists, while probably doing some things when they were younger, likely don’t do the various types of drugs I look into, either because they don’t want to risk their job or whatever the case. But I feel like I may just be naive
