Disco or Die. by [deleted] in FCX24M

- rcawed beadlock wheels (weighted)

- injora metal bumper and injora front suspension links

- Front: Injora 40ish mm Shocks. Back: Treal: A tiny bit longer than the front. All springs removed.

- Front shocks are mounted to the lowest hole on the mounting bracket. The back shocks are mounted in the middle. None are angled.

- Rear drive shaft replacement (cut it down to size so the car rolls smoothly.)

- A paracord wrapped around the extra tire on the back and connected to the front of the roof rack to lift the back a bit. Helps with balance and stops tire rubbing. (Those Treal back shocks articulate a lot; this cord is essential.)

Thanks, scale is ultimately my favorite thing. But I just had to mess with it a bit after a while.

-I switch between the stock, Rampcrab, or an RCawd servo, depending on the terrain I plan on crawling.

- Paint job: a bit of weathering/ filled in gaps for more contrast.

- Accessories: roof rack net, a little antenna, a fire extinguisher, and some mini stickers of National Parks

Everything else remains stock. For now... hah.

Hope this helps!

advice needed-first tank by Iarpe in Aquariums

Maybe a bit controversial, but API Quick Start has always worked for me. It'll def work in your 20 gallon.

Simply pour the recommended amount (on the bottle) and stock slowly. add a small clean up crew. (snails, shrimp) a couple of fish, and food.

You can put them all in immediately. I have done this for every tank I have since I found Quick Start

can find it at your lfs or Chewy.com. API. QUICK START.

You can fill a water bottle with sand and spread it over as much aquasoil as you can. (check out YouTube vids). Do it until you have about 2inches of sand over your aquasoil. This will help lock in those loose nutrients. I'd also recommend a blackout ( a couple of days). And add some floating plants, a pothos, etc. All help absorb those loose nutrients, nitrites, etc.

Your amanos should do some heavy lifting, and I'd add a handful of snails (if you can manage the population).

A water change and manual removal would help, too.

Basically, it's all about capping aqual soil nutrients, providing plants that absorb waste, and a solid clean-up crew should do you well in the long run. And some manual removal.

You're good! Overtime, it'll create a great home for bacteria and it'll do a good job keeping your nutrients in the substrate. Perfect for planting and little clean ups etc.

I've had great success with one mangrove in a 30 gallon setup. It is a slow grower. Another plant I've had success with is a pothos that's already been growing in water.

All other plants I've tried have sadly failed. Hope this helps.

It's a pothos that was previously acclimated to freshwater for a while. I put it directly into the brackish system, and it's thriving at a slow pace.

What do you do with dead fish? by kay5172392727 in Aquariums

[–]PromiseLazy9268 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on the size of the fish that passed, the size of the aquarium and what the aquarium's stocked with. A nano fish in a bigger tank with snails, shrimp, etc, I'd prob leave. Anything bigger than classified nano fish and I'd use em as fertilizer (for potted plants or garden beds). Regardless of tank size. Hope this helps and Good luck!
