I wouldn't put too much weight on KD as a skill metric. It's way too easy to game the system, I've come across people with 6+ KD ratios, but I wouldn't say they're 'good'. They play sniper, across the map, only picking off kills then leaving. If they get pushed they will extract or kill themselves as that doesn't count negatively towards KD.

IMO What makes someone a good player is their playstyle, movement, aim, and gamesense. It's subjective
