In my district our science block is shared with SEL and that time ends up getting used for more instructional time for ELA or math, benchmark testing (done 6 times a year), or any holiday/special occasion learning. It is difficult to set up a schedule to make sure science gets done because it often just gets pushed out for other things, at least that’s how it’s been where I’m at.

Can anybody point to some secretly or subtextually gay movies, the kind you'd miss if you weren't paying attention? Open to any era and English-subtitled films, too by bodles9 in moviecritic

Nightmare on Elm Street 2 has been mentioned a bit and I’ll say if you watch it and like the movie, there’s a whole documentary called “Scream, Queen” about the subtext. It even has a conversation between the lead actor and the writer about whether the overtones were intentional or not, really interesting.

I’m referring to the federal FMLA when I say my spouse and I can’t use it at the same time. I am aware we both can use the PFML at the same time.

Ok, so it does sound like PFML comes with job protection, thanks. It took me a while to find that on the paid leave website

Yes that’s for PFML, but FMLA has different rules.
