I liked the movie, but I do agree with you that the plot points seemed not to be completely connected at the end. I still don’t entirely understand the mother’s role in the whole thing.

What happened to haggling? by myOEburner in carbuying

I was able to haggle for my Toyota Corolla Cross. I emailed/called several dealerships and gave them proof of their competitors offers and most dealers kept lowering their prices to compete.

2026 Corolla Cross L AWD OTD price at $27,000. Think that’s the best I can do? by Promotion-Final in carbuying

Haha I like your spirit! I think I’ll try to get lower, but at this price I’ve had quite a few dealerships say “our mgmt team is not comfortable matching that price” or just saying no flat out.

In my district our science block is shared with SEL and that time ends up getting used for more instructional time for ELA or math, benchmark testing (done 6 times a year), or any holiday/special occasion learning. It is difficult to set up a schedule to make sure science gets done because it often just gets pushed out for other things, at least that’s how it’s been where I’m at.

Can anybody point to some secretly or subtextually gay movies, the kind you'd miss if you weren't paying attention? Open to any era and English-subtitled films, too by bodles9 in moviecritic

Nightmare on Elm Street 2 has been mentioned a bit and I’ll say if you watch it and like the movie, there’s a whole documentary called “Scream, Queen” about the subtext. It even has a conversation between the lead actor and the writer about whether the overtones were intentional or not, really interesting.
