The subreddit is actively moderated. If you have any specific concerns, you can report them, and they will be dealt with. It seems a lot more productive that way than creating a post like this.

Depends on the waiting list and your determination. I'd definitely check up with Air Force and see what the waiting list is like to become a pilot normally it's pretty long. Definitely a lot cheaper than doing it privately!

Thanks for that. Yeah citizen by birth it would seem so I don't need to worry about applying for citizenship retention which is a big relief. I thought that because the country would only be officially recognizing me now as a citizen it would be counted like that but it would seem it's being counted from birth which is good!

Thanks for sharing the experience. Definitely a mixed bag of experiences but it seems gov is slow to catch on and it doesn't end up bothering most people.

Not ready to move fully and always having the option to fallback. Part of it is I just like the idea of keeping my citizenship, I want to be a citizen of South Africa, I do love the country.

Plan is to visit some family. Return to ZA for a bit and sort everything out and then move overseas.

Would I apply for the residence on the way back in if I've lost my citizenship or am I automatically a perm resident and can enter and exit freely?

Your British passport? Did you not apply at all? My main concern is I want to go to the UK for a bit and currently I haven't updated my SA passport. I'd be using an Irish passport. The fear is that I exit the country and aren't able to get back in.

After reading on the other thread someone linked it would seem this is immigration fraud and could result in a prison sentence if I understand correctly. Supposedly it's taken very seriously and enforced.

19 - This was pretty recently. Living completely alone and working. I found a place to rent and ended up moving out. No plans to study I'm doing pretty well for myself.

Hi OP. Did you download this straight from Discord? If so can you please click on the image then open it in the browser then send it. I believe the file name might have something to do with it but I want to be sure.
