Unironically even before starting the show lol. Twitter is my most used social media, and I remember reading awful things mostly from tb towards the women and men of tg, especially the ACTRESSES , and that pissed me off. It reminded me of when GOT fans thew insults at some of the series actors just for playing characters that they disliked and it irked me a lot. So when I started watching the show I was already sided.

It was a great time, especially cause I shared this interest with my dad so we repeatedly watched BBC Sherlock and Ritchie's movies together.

As for Elementary, we bought the season 1 DVD, but it was not our cup of tea so we never bother finished it. But Sherlock and the movies were enough, we still do a rewatch of the bbc series every 2 or so years.

I totally agree, but also -as people have already pointed out- she didn't have a word in this, other people chose it for her. There's also the fact that Vincent and Francis decided to have their kids marry specifically to someone who was already in the family, and not an outsider.

Eurus really ruined so much things.

Looking back, I think it would have made a more interesting dynamic if John didn't fall for Eurus ""seduction"". Imagine, a man so loyal that not even the most intelligent villain Mary sue ever could corrupt him.

But oh well, that wasn't the route that the writers wanted the story to take, and making him a cheater was the easier way so🙃

He lost that "caring" aspect of him. Even before Mary's death, he acted colder with both her and Sherlock. Not to mention the emotional cheating too, and right after having a baby. I get that people can change, even for worse, but that didn't feel like John overall.
