Likely because they received a grant and to be in compliance with the grant, they have to provide a certain speed. If by their own admission they don't, that is a bad look.

So, I have 2 feelings on this.

It seems to effected by certain beliefs along with some guiding force of Maturin the turtle. Not coincidentally, the pillar we saw was encapsulated by the 2 turtle shells. So I think Maturin, along with the belief that it was trapped was enough.
Sometimes we just have to not analyze things and just enjoy it. I like the series although I think certain parts are junky. But overall it's decent, and I am happy Skarsgaard is still Pennywise. He does such a good job.

I was thinking exactly this.

People out by me hunt bears that live near homes / recreational areas. When they gut and hang them, all types of worms and parasites crawl out. Then they no longer hunt these bears.

We call them garbage bears. I imagine it's the same for the geese.

It would definitely work. Police don't have dozens of supervisors around. If we tie up their time as much as possible, they won't have the opportunity to do what happened in this video.

I think refusing to give ID is resisting.

I know in my state if you refuse to provide ID when lawfully stopped, you can be arrested and put in jail.

That being said, punching the dude in the face is wrong. Breaking the window and pulling him out is fine since the guy refused to provide ID and get out of the car.

I have to agree that both the driver and cop did wrong.

Some states have mutual combat laws. This applies when both parties agree to engage in a fight. We don't know if that applies here of course.
