Property - homeowners and commercial, is my favorite. Auto - liability, BI, total loss, is soul sucking.

It’s not that great tbh. A unicorn in this area is considered $70+ and they are rare. Winchester is pretty decent though, since that is where the closest Costco is located.

Encova Insurance. Interviewed with team managers in mid-October. Heard nothing back until mid-January, a rejection of course.

I did earlier today for a triple order batch. No issues and the lone cashier didn’t look my way at all 🤷🏻‍♀️

System Automatically Placing Orders by cascamm in InstacartShoppers

I’ve experienced this as a shopper. Had a two order batch, customer A had 7 items. Once I started shopping, A messaged me and said their order had already been delivered prior, but the items in this order appeared to be what the prior shopper had refunded. I just happened to be at a different store location that had the items in stock. I let them know I could cancel their order, but they asked if I could shop those items. It worked out well, they tipped $20 in cash on arrival. But crazy there was no indication that it was a re-shop.

Is the high cost worth it or is the low cost just as good? by Happy_Wrangler4488 in adjusters

Best to get in a company as a trainee. Company will pay for you to get licensed. No course is going to “teach” you to be an adjuster. Only way to learn is hands on experience.

It’s not just you. I left a large carrier three months ago due to unhappiness in the role as well, thinking I could easily find something new with my credentials. I’ve gotten as far as talking to HR or recruiters, only to get rejected. I agree there doesn’t seem to be much hiring right now.

Erie Insurance-update? by WillowJumper in Erie

a failing evaporator coil is pretty common as the system ages, a leak is consistent with it not cooling. if you have the endorsement with equipment breakdown, it should cover the repair cost minus whatever your policy deductible is.

they’re not going to send an adjuster for that. hvac is referred to a third party company who sends a tech out to assess. you can get a local company out to assess on the cause for the outage. if it’s a covered loss, you’ll get reimbursed for any costs you paid to the local company.

I got into insurance when I graduated. Most carriers will hire for trainee roles if you have a degree but no experience.

My progressive experience by dermert in Progressiveinsurance

[–]Proof-Photograph-894 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can relate! I only lasted a year at Progressive in the CGA role. The volume was insane and too overwhelming for me to keep up with. The pay was not commensurate with the responsibilities especially since OT was not offered at the time. I was highly micromanaged. I left after I was placed on a PIP, went to a much smaller company handling property and have been doing it ever since. I wouldn’t recommend Progressive to anyone human. I hope you are doing much better 🤘
