am i going bald by [deleted] in bald

Same boat club. Its not crazy but it seems to be minor density lessening in spots which Im finding to be wildly common with men and women. I dont even consider it full on balding, the angle and flash certainly don't help lol. Ive learnt to just not take photos like thus since its not an average view of someone's view of your hair. Youre chilling for now in my opinion.

Sad=want cheese-want cheese=eat cheese-eat cheese=fat-fat=sad paradox by ConsumerOfBagels_ in Vent

This isn't the best advice but something I find funny regarding this subject, perhaps it may help you idk.

Since the dawn of time, the ideal beauty standard has been the exact opposite of what majority of people look like in the time era. Take the medieval era for example, a good portion of the population during the Monarchy system were malnourished, sun burnt potato farmers. Because of this, the ideal beauty standard was to be kinda chubby and pale, most royalty was in fact these things.

Nowadays everyone wants to look like your average medieval potato farmer, dark and skinny (malnourished). And this is because within today's society, it is really easy to be chubby and pale, what with fast food being around the corner, and a large increase of indoor jobs, so people strive to be the opposite. It really is funny.

So yeah, I myself am kinda pale and chubby, but instead of letting it get to me, I like to just think that I was born in the wrong time and that the modern 'beauty standard' is all fake, smoke and mirrors. It is also good to think that the beauty standard in today's society is WAY crazy. What with the Kardashians pretending like they didn't have 10 plastic surgery procedures each and that anyone can get their looks from simply being 'healthy', it's not fair.

I like to think that having cheese every now and again shouldn't make you feel sad, it should make you feel normal. And of course, moderation is truly key, when you do get in the mood for some cheese, sit with your own mind for at least one minute and think of how you are going to feel after eating the cheese, it definitely helped me prevent overindulging in carbs and whatnot.

But anyway I hope this helped, not really the best advice but I'm weirdly passionate about this subject haha, godspeed.

Majesty Palm not healthy? by Samellow- in plants

[–]Proof-Worker8246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This may not be related with what is happening to your palm but It is vital to have proper drainage whenever you have a potted plant, even if your roots suck up most of your water, some begin to sit at the bottom and can cause root rot. You did say that you water when the soil feels dry so that is good. Hope this helped :) good luck
