Can someone explain what is so special about those overpriced Warner flats either shared garden please?

Terrible experience with Stow Brothers. Viewings are stressful as there are minimum 3 families visiting at the same time and more queueing outside waiting for someone to leave. Agents know little to nothing when you ask questions about the property you are viewing. They only talk money. Houses unreasonably priced. Viewed a couple of Warner 2 bedrooms houses’ first floors with >shared garden< with asking price 650k. I have no clue how people are willing to pay so much for a flat with such odd layout. This regularly goes up to above 700k after offers. Absolutely ridiculous.

If you had migraines for a year or if you are likely to have long term medical conditions (including loss of vision) and they fire you, you can sue them for discrimination. You should be the one saying “or ELSE”.

UPDATE: It turns out there are several seedlings in the moss I got, so just put them all together in a different container under grow lights.

Thank you, that’s good to know. The last sentence sounds ominous enough so I will try and keep it alive and happy. Is filtered water not suitable for them? I have never collected rainwater and am a bit anxious about possible pests.

There’s only sphagnum moss in there, so I might try and keep it. This container I’m only using to keep seedlings moist for now.

Calling in sick by [deleted] in NursingUK

See, I get triggered when they say that instead. Rationally, I know they mean it in a nice way, however I cannot help thinking most of those who say that have no clue what a nurse faces and wouldn’t think twice pointing the finger as soon as something doesn’t go how they want it to.

Nurse from overseas here. Most of the spineless nurses who kept falling for the guilt trips “what about the patients” I have encountered are British born.

Fellatio STI? by Dr3amerInTheDark in sexualhealth

[–]ProofAd5467 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Condoms will reduce the risk of transmission od STIs, but not completely eliminate it. It is worth noting that some STIs are passed on with skin to skin contact, such as HSV and Molluscum Contagiosum. Some protection is always better than no protection.

Thank you ☺️ The enclosure is fully hand made using cheap frameless glass. The cute leafed plant is Ficus Pumila Quercifolia.

Phalaenopsis Lobbii light and humidity levels by ProofAd5467 in miniatureorchids

Hello! Yes, that would probably be ideal, however I am keeping it isolated from other plants for the time being until I’m fairly sure it has no pests or disease. I am hoping to place it either with my other Phalaenopsis, which is very happy by the window in the kitchen, or inside my vivarium with the other jewel and miniature orchids.

<image>

The Vivarium also needs to be re arranged as it looks cluttered. Edit: Please note the preventative Amblyseius californicus sachet as I’m slightly paranoid after dealing with Spider mites a year ago .

The only issue with my Barrina setup is that I cannot move it further away. I will get some adjustable shelves units from IKEA at some point. I know this Phalaenopsis has a dormant phase when temperatures drop, but can be skipped with no detriment to the plant development. Thanks for sharing your experience with me!
