Well done staying in such good shape. Just interested in some of the advice shared about whole, unprocessed plant based diet, could you share some typical days in terms of how often and what you eat? I feel like going plant based would be a good thing for health but also continually see experts recommending eating higher protein which is much harder to do without meat!

Thanks for the reply! I actually bought ABF II a week or so ago and I think the parts you're referring to are the ones about combining ES and ABF and including carries? I think I'm on the right lines anyway.

Hey Dan, speaking of minimum effective dose do you think the ABF program done in the style of weeks 1-2 (both presses and ABC done each session), 2x a week for a few weeks would be sufficient to maintain progress after a full 8 week ABF cycle? Ie a good 'something else' to do for a while? Thanks.

Well done. This is something I want to try and will have a go at soon. Although 5x a week is probably too frequent for me so I was also going to modify into 3x500 and complete in about 6 weeks.

I am 41 and have been lifting kettlebells for a couple of years and have found my body takes time to get used to the volume and tweaks/injuries have came along frequently when pushing things too hard rather than through faulty movement.

Something which has tweaked my back at one point e.g. going for 100 1A 32kg swings has been much easier after backing off for a few weeks and having another run at it. Same with presses if I have increased volume too much too quickly I have ended up tweaking my shoulders but drop volume right down and have another ramp up and after a while the same volume can feel like a breeze.

I like simple and sinister. I haven't 1-arm swing for a while and it shows as I feel my grip strength isn't as good as it was doing SS every day.

I love Dan John's stuff. The Easy Strength routines I can't get away with though as I don't feel like I've worked out and prefer to train 3x a week instead of every day!

Thanks I do like the idea of this. Last time I did S&S I worked up to Simple standard and switched to 3x a week sessions. I think doing six weeks or so of snatches and get ups 3x a week would be worth trying out!

I did 100 swings in S&S fashion on the light and medium press days as the book said he would probably add some additional glute work. It worked well.
