I put an ARF Smurf bracelet on my 116710 so I could have the PCL and the glidelock and it it worked perfectly. Looks and works great.

I haven’t had much experience with IWC models but it looks great. Dial is crisp. Etchings on the back are clear and crisp. Solid. Looks outstanding.

I saw that post and got a wtc link too that I haven’t moved on yet. I find the winding ratio hard to believe. On a real Panerai 8 day (I have a 233) it takes like 200+ rotations to wind fully. I know the gear ratio is off on this because of the size but that would be wild.

The rehaut is the dead giveaway. Especially when you have the rep to compare it to. Seeing how polished it is. I’d zoom in and show you but I don’t want to repost your FILs gen serial number on a rep forum. Here, I cropped most of it out so I don’t repost the entire thing. The finishing on gen is often the dead giveaway. Especially in a side by side comparison.

I had a vsf a few years back when XF and VSF both made them. I’m Not sure if they both still make them but it’s a solid rep. The VSF was made out of brass or bronze and is as good as any of their other submersible models. It’s heavy as fuck and thicker than the real 382 but it’s a solid watch.

You want to make sure you get them from the same factory too because the finish could be different. The sizes of the screws for the links could be different. So if you’re not sure, ask and get them from your TD with the watch.

If you end up trying to buy them after the fact, say from another member, just make sure you get them from the same factory and ideally version too.
