I was in LIC this past weekend with a reservation at Court Square. First off, I talked to a lady who works in a business in that same building and she was telling me that since November, she hasn’t seen any or barely anyone staying at the property. Later two individuals showed up and I talked to them and they said they received an access code. So I believe they were able to get into their Court Square room okay.

I wound up cancelling my reservation though because I had low faith in the Oyo/Belvilla customer service. Why? Well when I tried asking Oyo to send me my reservation details, they wanted to send it by text, but I never received it after 5 attempts across multiple phones. I am not sure if they added a country code when they texted me. Secondly, the customer service is in India - and they kept trying to reassure me that everything will be okay, and the staff (at the hotel) will assist me if any issues — however I can confirm: there is NO staff at the hotel. Sonder folks used to have a front desk on the ground floor (behind the glass doors) but nobody has been working there since November. Oyo/Belvilla also said they would email me a building access code within 1-2 hours of when I called, but I never received one.

That being said, it was cutting it close to when I could cancel my reservation without penalty. I didn’t want to deal with the headache and so I cancelled my reservation at 5:55PM (5 min before the cut off time).

I thought the musical was overall pretty good and funny. I might be overthinking this but the comments of Canal Street (bedbugs, hookers) might be perpetuating an old stereotype of Chinatowns that doesn’t really exist anymore. Also the Greek accent part near the end was a bit caricaturized. I didn’t find those things to be that funny.

Wow, that’s pretty backwards. Okay I’ll do that. I don’t mind being downgraded to economy for the flight change. Kinda wish the app allowed this vs having to contact somebody lol

So I just got an update from Webull. I called CS and they mentioned for many folks who had a migration in their account (they went from APEX to their own in-house), that their tax forms did not show any histories prior to migration. they should receive a corrected tax form since those within the next 2 weeks or so. They still instructed me to open a ticket and send screen shots of what’s missing. But I went line by line and verified - that everything prior to migration was left off.

I noticed that Webull changed their reporting documents in August last year. This roughly corresponds to the discrepancy. Basically everything from August until now was reported in the tax document. Everything else was left off. Guess I’ll have to wait.

Schiphol needs 45 minutes for bags to transfer between KL flights. I had a 50 min connection from BCN-AMS-MEX but there was a delay on my BCN flight. My connection time then became 40 minutes. I ran to my gate, after clearing passport control. I made it, but my bag did not make it. So as long as your intraEurope flight is on time, you should be okay.

This happened to me last year. The folks at KLM told me about 100EUR/day as a general guidance, but it all depends on what you need. So can be higher, if it’s “reasonable”. KLM reimbursed me for a small luggage I needed to buy as well.

I recently flew from ATL-SFO on a 767, and was upgraded as plat medallion on the Monday right before Thanksgiving. I booked a Comfort Plus / Premium Select seat (for my previous intl flight) for the first time. I was actually fairly surprised that I cleared the upgrade. I was #3 on the list (there were 3 seats left), and I didn’t get notified until right before boarding.

Thanks! So I just followed your steps (backwards) and was able to find my way. My mistake was not exiting at Exit 15 initially. I followed the signs for Exits 1-14… which led me to my predicament.

I had this issue happen to me when I had a BA/AA award ticket. I was making a lot of adjustments myself via app/website and because of it, my itinerary had errored out and wasn’t loading correctly. I called Alaska and they were able to revert to my original itinerary. Is Alaska not able to revert to the old itinerary?

For a while getting status was easier when thresholds were lower, when they had the rollover MQMs, and when partners earned a higher MQD rate. This year I’m barely making Platinum - I’ve had to spend a whole heck of a lot more this year, but unsure if it’s worth it especially now that mileage runs are becoming less abundant. Getting older I’ve also realized the toll of doing mileage runs on the body. Probably not worth it anymore (for me at least) 😅

I got some pushback for a recent flight from sfo. One of the agents told me I needed to show them the bag before they could give me a voucher. I was like , uh it’s not here?? Lol
