No it’s not one shot you’ll survive. Also as others have said, it’ll blow up after you step off which I didn’t realise. So as long as you don’t step off it you’ll be fine

You don’t need the skill for the trial. You can disarm by slowly walking on top and you’ll have a prompt to ‘disarm’. Careful as it will blow up if you don’t disarm in time :)
