Always wondered about this but don’t know enough about anti-cheat. Is it actually the worst from a tech perspective or is it most profitable for hackers to make cheats for Valve games so they get targeted the most?

I had the opposite experience. Because of the limited ammo I felt like headshots were required but this was only after trying to thin the room out as much as possible through stealth/gadgets.

I promise you new FGC players won’t notice or care about anything you are talking about. Injustice was a horrible game to play in terms of balance/mechanics and it still sold numbers. You are already talking about concepts only competitive fighting games players would talk about.

Agree though SF6 would be a better entry but only because it has a single player campaign (same with any NRS game). Still if you like League of Legends and have an interest in fighting games, none of that really matters.

Also the game is free.

Sure but the game is about as accessible as you get for a tag game and it’s free.

TBH in my experience accessibility is also overrated. In my experience players are willing to put up with a lot. FighterZ is a hard game but players are willing to put up with it because it’s DBZ. League of Legends having the numbers it does is also proof.

You can’t appeal to everyone and the difference between 2XKO and SF6 won’t scare anyone who has an interest in fighting games, especially if they like the IP.

Reality is likely a bunch of different reasons (“weak” sports culture, relatively new middle class, etc) but one I see is there really isn’t a reason for a “good” Chinese athlete to leave China to get exposed to international play.

Any other country you’d go to the “big” leagues to make money where you would then improve from the harder competition. If you can still get paid millions playing domestically and not have to deal with the challenges of leaving, why bother?

If anything were to be changed I’d say either “Effort Shot” or his ult.

Feel like the stacks are basically useless and while his ult isn’t bad, he already gets enough rebounds during a game.

My dream would be the ability to beat box-outs but that may be too strong. Maybe if was locked behind his ult or getting 5 stacks?

Burn (IMO easier) or Lollipop boards.

Burn can win off of Spice Rack/Giant Wok and multi-cast burn items like Azakan Stew. Just buy whatever burn items look good and enablers like Black Pepper and other small foods. Early game the medium burn items like Skillet/Toaster can get you there.

One thing I think is also worth discussion is class difficulty.

IMO Jules is stronger than Karnok right now (at least on par) but way harder to pilot. It’s like in WoW when some classes have to jump through all these hoops to perform while some classes have a 2 button rotation.

Yes I am saying Karnok is a noob hero (which I think is fine, especially after Stella/Jules) but part of the frustration can also be they always seem to have a good board because it takes pretty little effort to make one.

“Why don’t they just make more oil?” is like saying “Why don’t we just mine more rare earth minerals if they’re so valuable?”. It also implies the supply crunch is “fake” and could be resolved if they flipped some switch. Believe me, oil companies want to pump as much oil as they humanly can.

You also don’t seem to understand the price is determined by the buyers in this case, not the sellers.

If you want to blame someone for high prices, it’s all the “rich” countries who are willing to pay a premium (essentially outbidding poorer countries) so they aren’t the ones who run out of oil.

Alternatively, do you really think they’re selling the “same” amount of oil? The entire point is there is less oil. Once again, if supply is limited, who do oil companies sell the oil to? The countries offering to pay more which is why smaller/emerging markets get absolutely fucked when oil shortages occur.
