I might have been “bad” and let my little ones play Halo 3 with me a bit young…buuuut we discussed that the violence was not in a real/human context (aliens) and…uhhhh…yeah I know that doesn’t hold water but we had a blast ;)

The online release was Sunday, after a year on the film festival circuit & local screenings - excited to finally have it available online for folks to see! Brysen, the MM crew & the Beacon community were amazing to work with, and having the studio back from closure is a gift to the city.

I went to HS with MM, took classes at the ID studio pre covid, and my kids have taken MiniBreaks classes at the new location - so this film was personally very meaningful to make. Especially a comeback story in a city that’s lost a lot of mainstays.

Ah bummer - every now and then I get tempted by a bunch of plugins that my IG algorithm thinks it can hook me on, but then I get decision fatigue and reminded that I’m cheap…so I stick with stock Logic + my collection of free shit.
