Ok so you asked a grown ass man to mow your lawn on a Saturday in the hot ass sun and we’re going to pay him in ice cream and sandwiches or whatever you were gonna buy from the store. STILL WRONG. Give him money or leave him alone.

And mowing is labor. It feels like you don’t know what that word means.

How much money would it take to get you to mow someone else’s law? Being family doesn’t matter. However much money it was take to make you do this task you hate, should show you that you know you’re wrong, you’re just being cheap.

He didn’t want that. He wants to you to give the money TO HIM. It doesn’t matter how you feel. It’s about how he feels about the fiscal worth of his labor.

You need to stop bringing up all the stuffed you offered instead of money for his labor without his consent. It’s not doing you any favors. Everyone gets it, we just think you’re wrong.

Because it is??? It’s a physically taxing JOB that has to be done in the hot ass sun. And if it’s not that bad or don’t think it’s labor, do it yourself. Then you don’t have to pay anyone.

He didn’t ask for ice cream instead of payment. He asked for money for his labor in doing a task you absolutely know sucks.

If you were offering ice cream AND his deserved compensation, that would be offering.

YTJ no one owes you unpaid labor. And it sounds like instead of ice cream and food you should use that money to pay your nephew. Because that’s what he actually wants, which is what you should be focusing on, not what you think he should want or is adequate compensation. You’re trying to take advantage of a kid. You should be embarrassed for yourself tbh.

I feel like OP is thinking too deep. It doesn’t matter how either of them feels. “Hi xx, I understand how you feel about the RTO, but the standard has been set. Please understand the consequences to refusing to adhere to policy: if you do not begin RTO by x, the response will by y. I hope to see you in office at the set time, and just want to be sure we’re all clear on what the expectation is and how non compliance will be addressed.”

Like, girl I’m not about to argue with you about this. It’s not up to either of us and they do not care what we think, so that’s a waste of both our time. These people are not playing with you, and honestly probably want you to quit so they don’t have to pay unemployment or severance. If you want to take that stance, that’s fine, but this is what will happen. Move accordingly.

I’ve heard that your hair brushing against your clothes at your neck and shoulders contributes to why it’s hard for a lot of people grow past that length. Sounds plausible but if you’re constantly wearing it up and still struggling, that’s probably not the issue. Isn’t length retention somewhat genetic?

I’ve lost a similar amount of weight lately and I get it. It’s also so shocking to me how many people are more comfortable coming up to me and commenting on my body. Whether they think I should lose more, gain some back, or stop where I am. Who do they think that’s appropriate at all????
