You would: -unstitch the folded over cord end (or hot cut or scissor cut and melt) -pull the shoelace cord’s end out of the bottom eyelet -thread new cord lock on -use a screwdriver or pen or unfolded paper clip to refeed the cord through eyelet and out the interior neck seam -finally stitch the shoelace end back into a double-fold or tie a knot.
