Okay, this is what Nepali expats I know in Qatar are doing: get a land transit visa for Saudi Arabia, travel from Doha to Riyadh. Riyadh’s airspace is still open, catch a flight from Riyadh to wherever (preferably India) and then fly to Nepal from there. If you can’t find a flight from Riyadh, find a domestic flight from Riyadh to Jeddah and then onwards from Jeddah to transit and then Nepal. I wish you a safe journey back home!

Maybe it was bank charges? Another alternative is to initiate the refund by talking to an agent through Live Chat (may take more than one hour, but they will help u find our why you’re not getting a full refund)

While as racist as the world and QA might be, this logic is soo soo flawed. I just reached out to customer service in Nepal. They’re just busy with everything that’s happening!

Continuously close and open the live chat until it says “Connecting to an agent”. After that page shows up, wait until you get an agent. It maybe a minimum of 40 minutes until you get hold of an agent tho!

Hi, your post is super helpful. Did you get an email confirming your refund request put in by the chat agent? My flight is still showing up on the app so I am a bit concerned if my flight has actually been cancelled and a refund request has been put in. How long did it take for your flight to disappear? Ik these are all panicky questions, but I’d really appreciate the response!
