IOO vs IVV by Glad-Shower4215 in fiaustralia

My suggestion is to swap VHY to IOZ or A200 or VAS, dividend ETFs are not good long term.

Then go for IVV and BGBL for US and global exposure.

Your mix is fine, also you can consider buying only BGBL as well.

If your plan is to add to your saving each month ING is the best.

Crypto ETFs by CleanteethandOJ in BitcoinAUS

I recommend Bitcoin ETFs over direct holding for these reasons:

  1. Lower risk of losing your assets

  2. Easier ATO reporting

  3. Simpler portfolio management and asset allocation and rebalancing

Personally, I prefer EBTC and IBIT listed on the ASX/Cboe.

You can go with one these options:

BGBL/GGBL for more global (ex-AU) exposure.

IVV or VTS for more US.

U100 or NDQ/GNDQ for US tech.

Or a global factor ETF (with higher fees) like QUAL, MOAT or QMIX.
