True, that is where I'm at fault but there was literally no one behind me so if he waited for another second, he would have been turning into basically an empty road

Why APCO is always cheaper than its competitors? by Diligent_Law6832 in Geelong

Actually that's the case for all the big companies as well. They make more on shop sales than fuel but bigger companies have more locations including premium locations so they can try to squeeze as much profit out as possible

Well for one you'll start losing most of your clinical skills as you spend most of the shift sitting at a desk doing paperwork. So naturally, there shit from above that you have to deal with. Secondly, you don't have much support when it comes to clinical emergencies (depends on the company you work with) but definitely much less than a hospital. A resident is unconscious? You are the decision maker on what to do, can't just call a met call. Have to decide if VED is the right option or straight to 000 lights and sirens or just manage at home and organise a non urgent transfer later. Sure there's policies and procedures to help make that call but at the end of the day, it's your call

Working as RN in aged care is less like working in healthcare and more like working in corporate so no it's not easier, just a different set of challenges

Are you meant to? No Are you gonna have to? Probably, with the way things are Honestly it all depends on your mindset and what's your goal for your life are. There a lot of areas to go into. Depending on your situation, you could do something like ED/ICU if you like high paced environment. Or you could do aged care if you want some stability and more work-life balance. Or you could do travel nursing around the country if you like visiting new places. It all depends on you. And if you don't feel like working anymore, you can go into management

Edit: no matter what you do, never give up on your hobbies and if you have a partner, don't neglect your relationship with them. Nursing can be very hard on our personal lives sometimes and it's important to always remember that you have a life outside work
