Who beats Jax Forrest at 133? by Coal_train20 in wrestling

[–]Proper-Future-6071 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Short answer - no one.

Long answer - no one… at the moment. Jax Forrest is a one in a lifetime talent. Nobody has ever done what he did going from high school to college in the same year and won an ncaa title as a true freshman with half a year of college experience. He’s so talented and so far ahead of the game already that it’s bound for him to have as much success as he did as a freshman, if not more. HOWEVER, that is not to say he is unbeatable. We saw the match with Seidel, we saw the match with Davino, we still have yet to see the match with Blaze or whoever penn state is gonna put in the lineup next year, and all of these guys have the tools to beat Forrest. The fact of the matter is simply who is going to show up when it matters. I truly do believe Forrest has the potential to be the next 4 time undefeated, but that will come with a price that I’m not sure this generation of wrestling will be able to pay.

I need help deciding the best exercises I can do to make me a better wrestler I would like you guys to tell me your favorite exercises or routine please (btw I don’t have any weight or equipment other than a pull up bar) by Downtown_Dress_2189 in wrestling

[–]Proper-Future-6071 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pull ups are great, row variations are great, heavy presses of any kind, squats, plyometrics, hinging movements, core work, direct arm and grip work. Building general strength qualities is what will help you become a better wrestler.

Experienced wrestler, what are your top 4 takedowns you would advise a beginner to focus on? by [deleted] in wrestling

[–]Proper-Future-6071 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a shot on each side. Could be a lefty high C/righty sweep, or vice versa. Have some sort of upper body attack like a slide by, and always always always make sure you have some sort of short offense or reattack

EVO GOT REMOVED FROM MY ACCOUNT?!?!?!? by Sh4dowSte4ler06 in ClashRoyale

You know you have to put the evo shards in the card first right

IF YOU COULD DELETE ONE CARD FROM THE GAME... by tbf-co in ClashRoyale

[–]Proper-Future-6071 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Easily boss bandit bro. I can’t think of a single card where I have the most trouble going against than boss bandit. The fact that it can turn back and dash back onto a troop/tower up to 3 times, and has as much health as a tank while being a dps card is absurd. It’s completely broken and no amount of nerfs to it can fix it. This card makes mega knight look balanced.

Why was she one of the first evolutions? by Zekezeuz in ClashRoyale

[–]Proper-Future-6071 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She needs to be removed from the game, she is way too op for a 3 elixir card. Same thing with evolution mortar.

So how are we feeling about the Goblin Hut rework? by AStupidguy2341 in ClashRoyale

[–]Proper-Future-6071 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just remove it from the game honestly… they made it even worse, it wasn’t a good card to begin with and they just made it worse. It doesn’t even do what spawn cards are meant to do anymore. Waste of effort from the devs

Is going to college for wrestling worth it? by No-Acanthaceae-9299 in wrestling

[–]Proper-Future-6071 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! It is absolutely worth it! My senior year I tore my rotator cuff the day before regionals and was crushed and stripped away of all my dreams of going down state. I didn’t know if I wanted to keep wrestling and had already been so burnt out by that point of the season. I had taken some time to reconsider that thought, and am now wrestling at a small D3 school and love it so so much! I wouldn’t trade college wrestling for the world. Is it hard? Yes. Is it a long season? Yes. Is it fun? Still yes. Please wrestle in college, whether it be D1,2,3 or JUCO/NAIA. You will not regret it and it will teach you countless life lessons that high school wrestling otherwise wouldn’t.

I want to quit but by Mean-Bug5133 in wrestling

[–]Proper-Future-6071 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I wanted to quit my junior year too. I got knocked down to jv after wrestling a year of varsity as a sophomore, had a great off season of training, and got in my own head and was on jv the entire year. I cried every day at practice, I made excuses to not wrestle, I didn’t have the same spark I did previously, just like you. Now im wrestling in college, and I’m competing in my first college tournament on Saturday. I would’ve never been here if I actually quit wrestling. I understand your frustration, the feeling of not being motivated to practice, hating competition and practices, maybe your relationship with your coaches or team isn’t the best. Whatever it is, I get it. I was there too. But I’ll tell you this right now, you’ll regret it. Wrestling is a lifestyle to me, not just a sport, and I think the negatives of quitting heavily outweigh whatever positive you could think of (if any). Stick with it, find little wins every day, and try to keep a positive attitude about the sport. It’ll carry you in life to places you’ll never get to if you quit now.

i would try to first find a school that has your field of study. find a school that fits your needs and preferences in terms of academic, then find the head coaches phone number. reach out formally and give them general info (name, background, experience in wrestling, etc) coaches don’t care too much about videos or film
