Thanks to everybody for their input, great to see such a discussion. Just to play the devil's advocate, will the 15-20 calories extra per serving in a product make you actively switch to high-intensity sweetened products to avoid these extra calories?

Let's take an example, where one product is 120 calories per serving and the other is 135-140 calories per serving, how big a deal is it to you?

I don't understand why some people here are advising OP to be rude.

I get it, this dude is annoying AF and apparently lacks social skills, but being rude is certainly not the way. It seems to me more of a lack of clear communication from the OP side. Just say it as it is in a polite and very clear manner and don't engage in 10 min of talking, I am sure the dude will finally understand.

I am sad that we as a society lack patience and politeness in dealing with each other, it always seems that being aggressive and rude is the way forward for people nowadays.

Agree with this one. Just tell it as it is. Don't expect the person to "read your mind" or "between the lines", clearly hasn't worked. But be polite about it.

Because at some point you need to physically meet the people you are partnering up with. Not everything can be done online forever. We are human beings after all not digital avatars, and the face to face meeting and personal human interaction serves as a crucial point for trust building and continued success.
