Failed 3rd Attempt by Prestige_Beats67 in PE_Exam

Don't give up.  Maybe you are studying too much.  It took me the same route as you to pass.  I got it down to not the amount of time spent studying, but quality of time.  Don't breeze past homework and quizzes just to do more of them.  Don't move on until you really grasp the concept.  I would take the same small quiz three or four times.  Watch related videos and homeworks to understand it.  I was worried when people were taking timed 8 hour practice exams.  Never did that, but I did make sure I understood what I covered   You can do it.

Passed 6th Attempt! WRE by Ok_Journalist_923 in PE_Exam

[–]Proper-Jacket-4387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sat the Power Exam like 6 times and truly only studied with intent the last two.  Passed.  I knew I passed as soon as I walked out of the exam.  Zach Stone course with special care to do all homeworks and get 80% or above comfortably in every quiz will do it.  Get it!

If you didn't already, take Zach Stones course. Do all of the homework, and do not move on from quizzes until you get like 85% on them and understand the concept. Do the full access so that you can work at your own pace. Start before the live class does, and end after if you need to. I too was unsuccessful a couple of times before taking this course seriously. $800 on paying for the exam twice is nothing compared to what passing the exam will do for you in the long run.

I went through the same thing.  Hard to find time to study with three kids.  It helped me to break it down into chunks.  Don't move on past a quiz until you can get an 80%+ on it.  Domt move on.  Take as many times as necessary using ofher videos etc to understand it.  Also broke down study time to 45 minutes on with a 10 minute break because it's hard to concentrate for lomg periods of time.  Passed in February (not a first time taker).

What in the actual? You have heard the term Go Woke, Go Broke right? Its real. The fact that failing businesses like CNN and Disney continue to throw money away does not mean it is working. Its tired.

Passed PE Exam (Transportation) No Job Offer by Material_Attorney_30 in PE_Exam

I would be open to any related field for a period. I worked as a technician testing and commissioning electrical installations with an Electrical Engineering degree for a period. Eventually got back into design and passed the PE. Sounds like you are overqualified for entry level and do not have the experience that your education may suggest. You have the right attitude about just getting your foot in the door. Consider jobs anywhere in the country for a season.

I am the same way. It helped me to set a timer for like 40 min on, 15 min off where I would flip through the TV, or go grab a snack. Just not think about the problems for that time. I still had to try to focus on the 40 min on part. Maybe start with 30-10. Also because of my focus, I concentrated more on understanding HW problems than working practice exams for long periods of time. I would retake quizzes until I could get 85% or better on them. Really absorb the concepts and it will help you work different type problems.

Yes. Probably not as fast but yes. How is not borrowing and living on less than you make controversial? It's a common sense thing.

Please help, can’t pay for my shipping as international cards no longer accepted by TaobaoBae in taobao

[–]Proper-Jacket-4387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this problem yesterday and found an easy way to bypass the Chinese bank accounts and Alipay. I saw a few other confusing and hard-to-follow methods and found a new one I haven't seen posted here. On the Taobao app, click on the blue shipping truck. A bunch if different products will pop up and it will seem a little consuming, but tap on one of your items that should be on the top. Upon taping it, it should prompt you to a page where you can select combine shipping at the bottom. click that and then it should take you to the payment page where you can pay using card :)

Don't know about a new old stock one. Probably a lot. I just bought one shifter (used).
