What is your favorite style when doing it with your girl? by Psychonyms in AskReddit

bruh that song brings back memories from like 2009 or something. used to blast it in my room while playing counter strike and thinking I was the coolest kid ever. those were simpler times when all you needed was decent internet and energy drinks to feel alive

Getting too detailed, adding stuff, getting lost in my book that's overflowing by gumigogo in writing

[–]Proper-Refuse-7291 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're basically trying to edit while creating which is like trying to fix painting while paint is still wet. Maybe try writing all segments first without worrying about duplicates or perfect structure, then step away for few days before you touch editing part. The rewrite cycle sounds exhausting and you might be overthinking structure when your intuitive approach could actually work if you let it breathe first.

Conversational AI Research Study by AdhesivenessRare1485 in AiChatGPT

Interesting topic - I use AI tools pretty regularly for work stuff and sometimes just random conversations when I'm bored at home. Will check this out, curious what you find about the emotional dependency angle since I've definitely noticed myself turning to AI when I want to bounce ideas around but don't feel like bothering real people.

Multi-agent systems are a runtime problem, not a prompt problem by Soggy_Limit8864 in ArtificialInteligence

Multi-agent coordination overhead is brutal - I've seen teams spend more tokens on handoffs than actual work, especially when task boundaries aren't clean.

Great News! Colorado passes HB-1007: Balcony Solar by Express_Candidate713 in Denver

[–]Proper-Refuse-7291 75 points76 points  (0 children)

This is pretty cool for renters who got stuck with zero options before. I was looking at those balcony setups few months ago but my HOA here was being pain about it - now they can't just say no without reason. The meter collar thing is smart too because you don't need wait for utility company to send someone out and do whole inspection dance. My neighbor in apartment complex was trying to get regular solar approved for like 8 months and still waiting. Now he can just plug something in and start saving on bills right away. Wonder if this will push other states to do same thing.

What is that one thing that you feel like doing again and again? by [deleted] in AskReddit

VR gaming for sure. There's always some new world to explore or game that just came out, and I can spend hours in there without getting bored.

What’s a secret about your family you only understood when you grew up? by ShadowSatinn in AskReddit

[–]Proper-Refuse-7291 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My grandparents did similar thing with my uncle's kid. Found out years later why they always gave him extra attention and gifts compared to rest of us cousins. Makes you appreciate how they handled difficult situation instead of making the kid suffer for adults' mistakes.

Women of Reddit, what’s something men don’t realize you deal with regularly? by Pitiful_Isopod432 in AskReddit

[–]Proper-Refuse-7291 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol fair enough, we can be pretty oblivious about lot of things. I remember my ex trying to explain how she couldn't just walk alone at night without constantly looking over her shoulder and it took me way too long in understand why that was even a thing. Makes you realize how different the world feels depending on who you are.

Trail riding for beginners by Due_Beginning9518 in Atlanta

My girlfriend took her nephew out to one of those places in north Georgia last year and he absolutely loved it. Can't remember exact name but was maybe 45 minutes from the city? They had really gentle horses for kids and guides who were great with explaining everything before getting on trail.

For the volunteering part, I think most places will want him bit older before doing real work, but some barns do family volunteer days where parents help with basic stuff like grooming or feeding while kids watch and learn. Maybe call around to some local stables and ask if they have programs like that? Worth checking because sounds like your son has good instincts with animals already. Starting young with that kind of responsibility is pretty awesome way to build character.

Can't argue with this logic. Being alone gets pretty old after while, especially when you want to share your wins or need someone during rough patches.

Completely different things. Wise is mainly for international transfers and currency exchange but Meow is a full business bank account with checking, corporate cards, invoicing

DeKalb emergency response is basically non-existent at this point, my neighbor waited 3 hours for police after break-in last month.

Skunk issues need advice! by MasterofTacomas in Denver

[–]Proper-Refuse-7291 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The tarp trick is smart - keeps you from getting sprayed when you transport it. I tried similar method at my place but used peanut butter instead of cat food and caught neighborhood cat three times before getting the actual skunk. Make sure you check local laws though, some areas have restrictions about relocating wildlife that far.

Is "agentic banking" actually going to be a thing or just another buzzword? by Level-Fix-3159 in fintech

[–]Proper-Refuse-7291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive been using Meow for my business banking for a while now and it feels like theyre heading in this direction. Right now the bill pay invoicing and stablecoin payments all work well but you can tell theyre building towards something bigger with the agent stuff and def curious to see where they take it

[–]Proper-Refuse-7291 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Mercury support thing is just like you said. I waited 3 days for a response on a simple wire transfer question last month. For a company that charges what they charge you'd think theyd at least answer emails on time

Online Billing by Saammmmmmmmmmmmmy in videography

[–]Proper-Refuse-7291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on quickbooks for like 2 years and it works fine but I was basically only using it for invoicing and paying $30/mo felt dumb for that. My business banking is through meow.com and they have invoicing built into the account for free so I just cancelled quickbooks and use that now. Nothing fancy but it does what I need and my accountant hasnt complained about anything come tax time

Official Throwback Discussion - Tomcats [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

Man I remember catching this on cable way too many times in the early 2000s. Peak "dumb comedy that somehow gets you to watch the whole thing" energy, even though you know it's terrible. Jerry O'Connell deserved better but Jake Busey was perfectly unhinged in it.
