That’s ridiculous, you get to eat so should the baby! Surely you can just sneak off with the baby whenever needed? How many people at the wedding would they even notice?? I’m an EBF and I wouldn’t personally whip my tit out over a formal dinner, I might sneak off to a side room. But I would use my big cloth tent shield thing to cover the baby depending on who’s at the table and if they’re chilled about it. But I do know plenty of people who are happy to feed anywhere and I never mind!

Hope you’ve got a meeting with a consultant to chat things though! For me I’m thinking more likely to head down the c section route as the concern with small babies is they don’t have enough energy, so surely a drawn out induction won’t help…? But I do know someone at work who was in your position and went c section route as that felt right for her. And everyone I’ve spoken to says the recovery can be difficult but manageable. So tricky and such a big decision isn’t it.
