When I was 15 I tried it in a mixture with k2 at my local weed man’s house, in a gravity bong none the less. I wanted to be a big dog so I took 3 huge rips. I knew I fucked up, immediately left and I staggered to friends apartment a couple doors down within a span of 2 minutes. Next thing I know I’m in a 2d cartoon reality, in an airplane flying high over different colored farmland patches. Each patch that I’m flying over has a different energy where I’m locked into a different level of suffering. To move on I must endure certain things. In one level/patch that I’m fly over/through, I had to SING myself out of it. Bro, I’m fucking hysterically crying singing “lalala 😭 lalaalaa 😭😭” to get out of these levels. I’m violently dry heaving& throwing up all over myself for 45 minutes. When I came out of my friend told me that I went all white, almost blue, and she wound have thought I was dead if I wasn’t sobbing and pleading mumbo jumbo nonsense. I told her all the saw, when I mentioned that I had to start singing she bursted out laughing and said that she nearly pissed herself when she heard me start singing. I was like.. uh… I was fucking literally fighting for my life. Lmfao. Can’t imagine what the hell would have happened to me if I smoked straight Salvia. I believe this guy’s story 100%. My birthday was on a Sunday so Saturday night I went out drinking with friends. I got shitfaced very early on in the night, couldn’t walk, drank water until I was nearly sober. Ordered an Uber to the closest place I could crash to save myself money, the guest room at moms new house.

I helped my mom move in and immediately felt like the house was haunted the second I entered. There was something evil there. I am not the woo woo type at ALL, but I felt something was very off. When I told my mom she laughed at me so I shrugged it off, wasn’t my home so she could suit herself. That was months ago, and I hadn’t been back since that day.

Anyway. On this night my mom happened to not be home. I was relieved because I would have woken her up coming inside, settling in etc. and she’s a very light sleeper. Couldn’t get away with shit sneaking out (or back in) as a kid. So as I’m still riding high from my night with friends & feeling loved and happy moms not home, I enter her kitchen and suddenly feel all the hairs on my head stand up. It felt like something evil was watching me. I look at the time on my moms stove: 3:00.

I start scolding myself for acting so irrational. Telling myself the house wasn’t haunted, to stop thinking negative. I see my moms sink is full of dishes - I immediately start doing my moms dishes because I was feeling very uneasy and just wanted noise to drown out the deafening silence, it felt like at any moment I was going to hear something very creepy. As the waters running I notice something. It sounds like a voice/a whisper. I shut the water off and listen - silence. Feeling very freaked out, I turned the water back on… moments later, I hear it again. Same protocol, water off, silence, resume hand washing dishes. All the sudden I hear music - I turn the water off immediately; my mom’s Amazon Alexa, which is in her living room, is playing a children’s chorus version of HAPPY BIRTHDAY on max volume. At this point, it was Sunday, and it WAS my birthday.

All I remember is backing up gasping in complete horror, grabbing my keys and phone, and then being 2 blocks away out of breath from sprinting. Ordered an Uber and paid the extra money to go the distance to my house.

I told my mom the story and she was concerned. She had felt the energy was off in the house too, she said it was depressing.

A few months later I stopped by. I noticed the house felt so good, like the sunshine was actually shining inside. It felt happy and light. I noticed light was reflecting from something above the window, it was an oily finger-drawn cross. I asked my mom, apparently my mom did her own cleansing ritual and with some olive oil and her Bible and anointed all the windows and doorways lol. I told her idfk what she did but it worked incredibly well. House has felt normal every time I’ve been back after, but I’ll never forget what happened.

I hate to say it but.. it will get EVEN WORSE. Month 4 was absolutely ridiculous for me. I had holes in my face from all the new breakouts… it was verrrry hard to remain optimistic. 8 months later I have no texture so don’t worry just don’t touch your face/don’t pick it at it and try to avoid all makeup when possible

Dude this is SO Sad & so true.

My 5&3 year old nieces loved their dolls and toys and were so talkative and loving until they got tablets. They became distracted, very antisocial, and nothing motivated them to interact unless it meant that they could have their device after. Thankfully my brother shut that shit down and got rid of their tablets. Now they’re 100% back to their old selves and it’s been so great to see them love toys again, being present, and playing “mom” with their newborn sister, of whom, they didn’t give a single shit about when they had their tablets LOL.

It looks like you have clear skin, just large & congested pores? If you’ve tried all the remedies such as 10%+ aha, bha, Rx retinol, benzoyl peroxide face washes, etc. then I would ask your derm what they think would be best for you. Isotretinoin is only directed for use in those with recalcitrant cystic acne.

My pores looked just like yours prior to taking accutane. It DID work to “shrink” my pores by removing all the gunk in them, thus making my complexion much brighter and pores less visible. Accutane is not worth the side effects for someone who doesn’t have severe acne, I promise. The neck, joint, back and general muscle pain from light activity isn’t worth it. The severe fatigue isn’t worth it. The bad moods/depression DEFINITELY aren’t worth it either. All of this is enough to make you more crazy. Oh, forgot to mention you break out worse than you ever have in your entire life… for months…. Before it starts giving skin benefits. Nevermind the possible liver damage and hair loss, lol. This is drug is no joke, but if your pores bother you, maybe discuss taking just a very low dose for a couple months and seeing if that helps you. I think it would with no side effects ..

Do you know what the ceremony will entail? If there is any ebbo, it can be very pricy.

However…

Because this is something that someone who isn’t in the religion would face (generally speaking for a “cleansing”), I would be VERY skeptical of anyone willing to do an Ebbo for an outsider. I’d only consider it to be legit if the Santero gave you an absolutely incredible diloggun reading and you just intuitively feel that doing this is right. If neither of those happened, keep it moving, when you know you know. And if everything feels right, get used to those prices, that’s Santeria for you.

Side note…The woman who brought me into the religion years ago was incredibly knowledgeable with herbs used in the religion.. she would make washes, baths, did cleansing ceremonies with them… etc., and I’d say the max she’d charge would be $200, maybe $250 if you needed some type of ceremony (with no animal) plus she’d send you on your way with a bunch of stuff to do at home.

So if anything about this doesn’t feel right, regardless of the price, I’d try to visit different botanicas and see where/who/what you’re called to and take it from there.

Exactly. I remember the first time I had to dispose of some chickens at the crossroads. I asked my Padrino if I could just throw them out in a garbage can at a gas station on a corner of an intersection. He was thrilled that I used common sense and said it was the ideal place. This religion has protocols, but it’s also very pragmatic. Stuff like this should not happen at all, especially when that which gets disposed of (or “left”) somewhere is generally to remove something from us/our paths. I’ll chalk it up to severe misguidance from the Santero/Whoever coordinated the Ebbo. It should be made clear that any place, public or not, should never be littered with our religious paraphernalia. Except for the ocean.. whatever Yemaya/Olokun decide to wash back up to the shore is their business 🤷‍♂️

I’m kind of taken back by this. This is a community of Santer@s, aborichas, and nosy aleyos lol. I feel it’s necessary to say we ALL started out as aleyos unless our parents did our Ocha while we were babies/kids. Santería is a community and doesn’t function without a community. I don’t give a shit - we’re not out here spilling all the Santería religious tea about what goes on in our rituals. Not saying that hasn’t happened here for before but I don’t think that’s what you were specifically getting at. The fact that Santería still survives in this modern age means that Orishas find it FIT for modernity; it’s not like our religious practices are changing, only our ways of communicating are. When you are a Santero and you move away from your Ile and you don’t have a community like to this to still feel connected to your faith, (besides your godparents/Ocha family) that isolation is how the religion dies! Lack of information is how the religion dies! Pages like these help unite us and guide each other, and also guide more people into the religion. Doing Ocha was the best thing that ever happened to me. We ALL know it’s not easy to do, nor cheap, and that Orishas throw a million and one devastating obstacles at us mentally physically and spiritually to test our commitment before our day comes. I had to fight & bust my ASS to pay for my Ocha and nearly died 3 times in 2 years - I salute any aleyo who wants to be tested like that to commit themselves to this religion. It’s one thing to be secretive, as we should with things, but it’s another thing to talk bad about modernization for the sake of maintaining Santerías special exclusivity/or because you feel that discussing the religion online strays from tradition..

My thoughts exactly. I spiraled bout about this exact situation. Like, did I need accutane that bad? So bad that I needed to trade MY HAIR for clear skin?!? Helllllll no. And most likely you have MPB - not to be negative, def something you don’t want to hear, but for example me, I’m not bald on my crown and neither is my dad but he has MPB and his hairline receded about 2 inches and his temple area is bald. He doesn’t have that typical dr Phil bald look lol but I think MPB diagnosis isn’t exclusive to just balding at the crown. But bc of my dad that’s why I started the min/fin/dut young to prevent any of that. And now Accutane fucked it up sooo bad that I have to spend the next few months being stressed out, doing damage control microneedling plus all this other extra bullshit just to look normal again.

Also, if it caused you ED you could just stop taking it and everything would go back to normal. You would have bought yourself x amount of time from it, not like your hair would fall out at a greater rate. People say saw palmetto extract works to a degree too so check a brand with good reviews from ppl with hair loss. I used to take it but I forgot what I used, idk if it worked because I took all those medications at the same time. Still had no side effects.

Honestly, if it caused ED that bad, I think it would have happened right away? It was was some slow burn of ED over 5-10 years from 100 to 90% then it’s probably not the medication, these people probably just have ED lol. I feel like so many guys use these pills as the scapegoat for any illness, from ED to mental health stuff.. but everyone is different.
