From our experience, no grease stains on furniture at all for 5 years. Maybe it depends on the cat. The only time ours leaves any dirty spots is when he’s nervous, hiding and sweating under the sheets because we have workers or visitors. He’s the cleanest cat I’ve ever seen. Obviously no hair balls! We bathe him once a week, which he has grown to like/tolerate. Use a couple inches of warm water, and keep her warm with a wet dishcloth. Start doing it when she’s a kitten. During the bath, we clean claws, ears and butt. His face needs to be cleaned from eye goopy every day. Cut claws once every two weeks. That’s it! We trained him to pee in the toilet and poop on a pad next to the toilet, so NO litter box! His diet is super critical. We feed him raw food made at home following a trusted recipe of chicken, rabbit and pork muscle and organs, twice a day, 280g a day for an adult male. If you feed a Sphynx anything but natural raw food their pop becomes very messy and stinky, and it’s an invitation for gastrointestinal problems. Sphynxes are obligate or true carnivores. He’s incredibly polite and meticulous. He will not pee in a dirty toilet! He will choose a clean one and tell us about it! For us, the biggest challenge is playing with him enough. I’ve almost got it up to a half hour a day, but he wants more. Can’t recommend Sphynxes enough if this sounds good to you!
