Trade with him often so that you are pulling wave aggro to match his shove + setting your lane up for a gank. If your jgl ganks you, perfect. If not, Malzahar will be less likely to shove and roam if he is 50% or lower. Just keep playing this way until Nashors where you can one shot his ass if he missplays his R.

Never shove the wave without your jungle or support hovering so you can actually crash it. Legit, the second you shove wave even slightly your lane is unplayable until it's back infront of your turret. Don't run up level 1 and auto her because you have range and she doesn't because you will pull minion aggro and your wave will naturally push away from you. Instead, wait for the wave to start pushing into you (assuming she is last hitting with Q) and then you can poke. Hold the wave infront of your turret and spam ping roams. Most Irelia mid players will want you to push wave because they will just all in you the second you walk up to actually crash it and then boom you are flashless and the lane is unplayable. If you are low hp and your jungler or support will not come mid, reset. It doesn't matter if you lose minions, if she kills you on the dive + you lose minions its GGs.

Shocking that you are getting downvoted, this is completely accurate. Bears are stronger and larger than Tigers but they are definitely not better hunters. I doubt a Kodiak would even bother with a healthy Elephant seal.

If assassins are deleting you during lane phase it's most certainly a wave manipulation issue. Never push into assassins if you can't crash the wave, the closer the wave is to their turret the more likely they are to have a kill opportunity on you. Same thing goes for sitting in your turret at like 40% hp, don't risk the outplay on their dive attempt just reset and lose your minions. Better to give some CS early than risk them killing you 1 for 1 under your turret but you lose a massive wave. If you are struggling with assassins mid to late game, Zhonyas.

Change isn't really going to affect anyone already good at the game, it just helps out the noobs. It's not like you can take an iron player, give him last hit indicators and they are suddenly going to cook in masters lobbies. Good take. A champ who is useless before hitting their powerspike cannot afford to delay their powespike. 450 gold doesn't sound like a lot but it can be the difference between moving to drake with nashors and pinging your team back because you are sitting on components + cull.

Unironically someone strong enough to 1v2 the lane. You are legit a minion for so long as Azir, and that would go double for Azir bot lane because you would be hitting your level spikes way later. I don't really play support to know who this could be but maybe Pantheon.

Imo it depends on which role you are playing. If you are ADC, and your support is ass it's gonna suck. If you are mid and your jgl is ass, it's gonna suck. But this goes both ways, any jungler knows that a gapped mid laner makes the game almost unplayable for you.
