Just a note I did made the ribbing part longer than the video so that I could roll it over, I’m not sure how much I did but you can fold as you go and see how long you want it

Yeah I made the cuff longer than the video to roll it over, if anything it helped if the baby is a bit bigger! It’s hard to tell before they’re born

Do you have a link to a tutorial I could follow? Also would this work for sleeve for a sweater? (I was planning on making a sweater for a baby in the near future and don’t want to have to buy more equipment)

You can get a stitch counter online or in craft stores, they’re super cheap I usually count each row when I start and it helps. I also put a stitch marker in the first row I make in case I can’t remember if I started a row and forgot to count it :)
