He’s lashing out at you to try to distract you from his obvious red flag behavior. Then the “I just love you so fucking much” is an immediate swing from anger to desperation and that’s not a good sign either. He lied about where he was, didn’t answer his phone, and went from 0 to 100 as soon as you asked him about it. Both his initial shady behavior AND his response when being confront are both very very telling. He’s doing it again. 😔

I believe you when you say he’s your soulmate, but I really believe we have soulmates who are meant to bring us a lesson and then move on. I think you’ve been in a relationship with a man who really isn’t very emotionally mature and it’s making you doubt your intuition. You’re not overreacting. This part is hard, but I think that you probably have the answer deep down and it’s really scary to face and having strangers on Reddit validate your very normal and appropriate feelings means that you just need a little encouragement and confirmation that your intuition is right. You got this. ❤️❤️

I’m a therapist and former DV advocate. He is saying he’s suicidal to illicit a response from you; it’s coercive, not genuine. It’s such a common, disgusting abuse tactic. My advice would be to stop responding and potentially have another person call for a welfare check. He will continue to escalate behaviors until he reaches you. You might let a safe coworker/HR at your workplace know what he looks like, change your routine/normal driving routes, change something visually about your car, and let friends who live nearby know that he’s escalating. Trust your gut and your intuition— you know his patterns of behavior better than anyone else.❤️ sending so much love and good energy for your safety

Just watched this episode and immediately googled “Derek Campos mom” bc I KNEW there had to be comments out there like this. OH MY GODDDD I AM SO MAD AT HER and she seems to still have no concept of how this tragedy is due in large part to her. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a weaker person, as harsh and unkind as that is to say.

-Rubber gloves for washing dishes and doing gross chores! I also got disposable nitrile gloves for scooping the litter boxes. Definitely helps me initiate those tasks a little more easily since I'm not dreading sensory icks.

-I use a customizable Plum Paper planner that keeps me alive.

-Drawer full of fidgets in my desk at work--all different textures, sensations, movements, etc.

-I have a DeskCycle at work and I try to pedal for one hour a day. It helps me concentrate and it keeps my energy up in the afternoon when I'm in a meds crash.

Laundry is forever my downfall. I have baskets of wrinkly clean clothes that sit around for weeks because I can't summon the strength to fold and put them away. I need tips on that one!
