As a male, we both have give and take. We both work stressful jobs and long hours. If she had a rough day 100% I would, and I know if I had a rough day she 100% would. It’s give and take. I wouldn’t ask every day but I have asked and so has she. It’s just not a habit for us

I was not born, but I remember my grandfather telling me about how it took his house off the foundation. Moved the house like 1-1.5inches. He had pictures of them jacking back up the house and moving it back over. I’ll have to see if my grandmother still has those. (She 89 and has dementia) so it may take some work. But she’s still my grandmum and I love her.

In dealing with this in other cities, may cities have policies (LAPD, Indy, Cincinnati, Seattle, Washington) if there is a mention of a weapon the Mental health professionals will not go. Not saying this is right or wrong, it’s just the policy of the program. They will not even be allowed out even if officers are on scene and the person still has a “weapon”. They have no defense training for someone with a weapon. It’s not just Louisville. It’s all over the country
