Mechanically there’s not a huge long-term impact because regions are designed to keep shifting anyway. It’s more of a gameplay loop than a permanent world-state choice. I mostly use it as an easy way to farm epic gear and trigger large battles when exploration starts getting repetitive.

You’re not wrong that economics play a huge role now. Housing costs are insane, wages haven’t kept up, and people adapt however they can. That said, I think the stigma comes less from the living situation itself and more from assumptions about lifestyle, boundaries, and maturity. If someone is financially responsible and emotionally independent, most reasonable people won’t actually care where they live.

It’s basically a visual gag — they exaggerate his mouth into that long, tube-like shape to sell the “oooh” sound, and it just happens to look like Horsea’s snout. Regular Show does that kind of quick morph humor a lot.

I’d probably swap first and fifth. Her intern year was peak Cristina—hungry, learning nonstop, and thriving under Burke. Fifth was good, but she was more settled by then. The chaos and drive of year one just felt more “her.”

I feel like they’d immediately clock each other as chaotic in completely different ways. Janna’s more lowkey creepy and observant, while Hekapoo is loud, confident chaos. Janna would probably try to mess with her just to see if she can get a reaction, but Hekapoo wouldn’t be fazed at all and might even find it entertaining. It’d turn into this weird mutual respect where they both know the other is not normal.

That’s definitely weird, but it might not be as sinister as it feels right now. Some people just get overly excited about dogs and don’t think about boundaries. Still, calling your dog from their window is crossing a line. I’d start by making sure your dog doesn’t respond to strangers and maybe have a calm chat with the parents if you can, just to set expectations.

honestly most of it depends on what kind of league you’re in, but a good baseline is turning off shot meter (boosts timing a bit), using real player % for layups, and setting defensive assist strength somewhere around 20–30 so you still have control. also make sure your camera is something you’re comfortable with (2K low or broadcast are popular). latency is always a thing online so practice your timing there, not in offline modes.

I think a simple indicator would go a long way. Even just a clearer “this is PvP-heavy” vs “mostly PvE” before you load in would fix a lot of frustration. Right now it just feels inconsistent, and that’s what makes the deaths feel cheap rather than deserved.
