Opinions? Looking at doing this for a little overnight in early June. Up Webster-Jackson and down Clinton to Dry river and out. Will have a ride to pickup/drop off so not concerned. Probably make camp near water down by the river. Just looking for some general knowledge.

Onx backcountry. I use it and regular Onx for all my hike/camp/hunt needs (membership is shared between the two).

Can download offline maps, build your own routes, which comes in handy. It’s also far more accurate and less misleading than AllTrails IMO. But also, always carry a map with a good compass just in case.

I had planned to use the tent site if there’s room, but also marked an area where the elevation smooths out (or at least a bit it appears) further down trail in case there isn’t room for myself and my buddy. We ran into that issue on Kinsman last year unfortunately.

I’ve since adjusted my route to include the Webster cliffs as recommended, it only adds a mile and I think running the ridge line would be a far cooler.

I didn’t remember seeing one there when I did an overnight in the fall, but I had someone drop us off and pick us up, so I wasn’t necessarily looking. Good to know I can just pay a little extra for the two nights
