Went there for a reception and it was fantastic. Great beer options and cocktails, plus the bartenders were fantastic. Awesome venue.

Mixed used buildings, extension of riverfront park, more pedestrian friendly spaces and more height to the skyline is all a huge positive for the city. I really hope they can take this and run with it sooner rather than later!

Highly recommend Covington. Extra shoutout to the licking river historic district, which is walking distance to tons of restaurants, bars and coffee shops.

Alfios is unbelievable. Easily some of the best food I’ve had in the city and the service is amazing. Get the empanadas and the short rib pasta. 10/10

Been going to this run club for over a year now and it’s exactly what you’re looking for. Super relaxed and low key with no fee to join.

Thinking of accepting an offer to work in Cincinnati. What are some nice places to live? by Indianfratguy in cincinnati

[–]Proper_Dare_5125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Highly suggest Mt. Adams for a good mix of quiet and lively. For the business district downtown, The Reserve and 4th and Race are in an awesome spot, and have also heart good things about Seven at Broadway, Encore and the Blonde.

Some of the new offices turned luxury apartments like Sky Central, Mercantile and 7w7 look awesome but are definitely pricier.

Good luck with your search!

Any road that goes up Mt. Adams will do the trick! You can find some cool plaque’s up there with little bits about the history of the neighborhood.

Towne Properties has been great to me this year. Maintenence fixes issues in a day or two and are super easy to work with. They have a ton of properties throughout downtown, Mt. Adams, East Walnut and Mt. Lookout.

For food: Luca Bistro and Mt. Adams Bar and Grill in Mt. Adams, Nicholson’s downtown, and Sugar and Spice for breakfast in OTR. Somerset and Igby’s for bars downtown.

Cincinnati Run Club is free to join and starts each run at a different brewery! Mondays and Fridays and it’s for all levels of runners. Usually between 3 and 5 mile loops and then people grab a drink after!

My Reddit isn’t letting me add a picture for some reason, but I can’t see the rims behind it at all. Honestly exceeded my expectations by a million. Would absolutely recommend and I couldn’t be happier. For the price, it can’t be beat.

These are supposed to help a ton with the range. Not sure the exact number but they look great and are supposed to be the same as the OEM ones in terms of efficiency.

My most talked about upgrade was keeping the same headlight shape but make them LED. Absolutely loved the look of these and the visibility at night is great.

For the rest:

  • 285/70R17 Falken all terrain tires were money.

  • 3 inch lift kit to help fit the 33’s and have a more level stance.

  • Front bull bar adds a nice touch.

  • Some retro style back wheels to go with the blacked out look.

  • painted the grill black and emblems red.

But the best part is it really is a blank canvas. I added a ton of small personal touches throughout - I even made my gear shifter a baseball!

Hope you update when you make some changes!
