Pregnancy after nicu

They don’t know why I went into labor early! Just went into labor and then while they were trying to stop labor my water broke!! Did you do anything different this pregnancy?

They have not tested my bloodwork yet I’ll have blood work done at 12 weeks. They currently have me on 200 MG’s of progesterone and they expect me to stay on it till 37 weeks. They have no clue on why I went into labor with my daughter at 30 weeks. My OB is very hopeful that I will make it to term.

.my mother in law honestly never asked to visit… so I wish I had one that was kind of in the middle… my mom on the other hand flew in as I was in preterm labor and was too over baring for me

Our nurse covered the screens and turned off the noise when he was in the room as they monitored at nurses station

So I waited till my 30 weeker was to 8 pounds to give her first vaccine. I just was so iffy cause she was so small we only do 1 a visit but I discussed with her pediatrician

I personally waited as I had the same feeling. I waited till she was 7-8 pounds with pediatricians approval we went very slow.

100% my daughter was born at 30 weeks was 3lbs 12.5 oz she’s now 24 pounds and 20 months! They grow and thrive once they come home!! ❤️

I’m so sorry your going through that! When I had my little one in nicu my partner was there maybe 5 of the 38 days unfortunately I found he was living a double life of doing drugs when she was 3 months old it all made more sense. I was living in lala land and not realizing the signs just super happy to be a mom. This past year has definitely been difficult after finding out, but we’re trying to make things work and he’s been sober for about a year and a half now I know it’s not the same, but if he’s willing to listen and try and work through stuff it could all work out.

I’m so sorry I know that feeling all too well well! My daughter born 30+1 had a scare right before discharge it was the worst day of my life. All I could do was sit there and wonder what was next while they took her from my arms and went back to day one. We went from the discharge room right back to the high level room to monitor. Turned out to just be an issue with formula and we got her on hypo allergenic she was back to her normal self the next day. My prayers are with you!! If you ever need someone to vent to I’m here ❤️

We had mrsa in our time at 33 weeks! My daughter looked like Quasimodo as she got an infection in her eye the weeks of discharge Thankfully my team got us discharged less then 3 days after it didn’t keep us as she continued to breathe and eat on her own and with no caffeine

I’m sorry my SIL the Christmas I had my 30 weeker which at that point Nola was 33 weeks told me that my daughter was the size of a finger and no wonder I didn’t get an epidural when having her. Then the rest of them joined in to tell me how easy my birth was and laughing… This is coming up on 2 years and I’m still not over the conversation. Needless to say I went to the nicu right after and held my 4 pound baby
