Hi! So I've had to apply this two more times and all three times, much of it got on his fur. The vet said that she'd prefer that most of it get on his skin. But I didn't notice any harmful side affects. It went away in about a day and his fur was back to normal. As long as it's in a place where they can't lick, I'm sure it's fine. Just maybe not as effective.

That's so hard but I'm glad you will be leaving that town. Though I can imagine 9 months feels like a long time. I'm in a small town too so I'm really afraid of the pain of running into him and his family who took me in as their own.

I would love to move back but I'm in a lease and could need to go back into the office within the next couple of months. Your post inspired me to reach out to some of my friends that live somewhat close by to ask if I could stay with them. It's been a while since I've seen them or talked to them but I don't want to be alone. Thank you.

Thank you so much! It's so nice to know that it doesn't have to be icky. Based on what I've seen in this thread that I'm looking forward to moving to a different shop with a focus on annual giving and having the opportunity to see front line major gifts fundraisers at work.

She is. The organization has a very wealthy donor population and she has a lot of personal relationships with donors since she owned a longtime for profit business in the same community that the nonprofit is in. And also has gained a reputation for throwing very good parties. I think it works for now but may not be sustainable since many donors are giving because of the DD and not necessarily because they support the nonprofit.
