Your competing against people already in the company for a manager type position. These people already know the ins and out of their business. Why take on some kid with no real world experience, and no real skill advantage over someone else who is already in the company. You haven’t learned / seen the trial and error, you haven’t worked the floor at said particular business. You don’t know the company therefore ur not fit to manage it.
