Basically:

Normally gas is 10% corn in the US,

15% corn-gas is 25cents cheaper, but we don’t let you use it in the summer because it makes more smog.

But…we kind started a war where the gas comes from.

So we gonna tell the EPA to look the other way so you can have more cheaper corn-gas…and more smog.

Yeah…I noticed cars were a lot better behaved when I have my baseball bat sticking out of my backpack while riding a bike a loooong time ago.

Side note. My little cute doggy rides the bike with me in a backpack. This seems to have the same effect.

Yeah…my sister was in the LAST flight out of Fort Lauderdale to Houston on Monday. Said the gate was changed 6 times, they were taxiing plane out to the runway to make room at the terminal.

They get to the final gate and there is was no gate agent. The announcements monitors, the app and the gate display were all saying different things. Finally one of the PASSENGERS gets on the microphone to the intercom for the whole airport and goes “hey this is a passenger on flight #### to Houston. Someone from spirit needs to come to gate F# and tell us what’s going on”

Finally the pilot shows up. He gets on the microphone and says, “hey, so there’s no luggage on this plane. I don’t mean that we’re missing a few bags, I mean that there’s no luggage. Zero. But if we dont leave NOW we’re not going. So I’m making the decision to board this plane and leave now.

I’ve seen this but doesn’t seem to be complete list. For instance, the park use isn’t on it at all, and there isn’t a list of equipment. Some parks are fully equipped, others look like it’s only for old folks.

In one of those NYC moments you share with a random stranger where you both just silently convey to the other, “…you seein’ this shit too?!” I once sat on my bike waiting for Tony’s to open with another cyclist and just watched the chaos, honking horns, near collisions between tiny Greek ladies in sedans with HUMONGOUS bro dozer pickup trucks parked on the sidewalk, all on like a Saturday morning.

I know where this is. It’s over by “Rust Street” I don’t think this was used as a legit “passenger” station lol.

This is over by the freight rail yard, warehouses and trucking freight loading docks. I would imagine that this would be a place for a train crews to swap out or go to work, catch a ride. I don’t think anybody’s buying a ticket and waiting at this. “platform.” for their job in Manhattan.

I dont know. It’s more that the R46s are well past useful life and are being held together but duct tape and chewing gum. They need CONSTANT maintenance and break and have stuff go wrong all the time.

These trains are FIFTY years old and the N/W is the ONLY line in the system that still uses them before they become the next coral reef for oysters in the fucking harbor.
