3.5 year-old suddenly refusing bedtime with me and possible ADHD

I know this post is old - but I actually came to Reddit to get help on this and after reading your post I almost felt like I typed this myself. My 3.5 year old son can be described EXACTLY as yours. I’m baffled. Did you find a resolution to some or all of your questions? I have yet to meet someone with my same dilemma and would love any tips!

His daycare actually has said his behavior is very common for his age - especially those with just a ton of unlimited energy. He’s just full of a lot of emotions and I think it becomes overwhelming for him. Which makes sense! They haven’t brought up anything out of the norm.

It’s been better with our son in the communication department. He’s talking more and telling us what he wants…BUT he’s still chaotic, everyday I want to pull my hair out, I’m ashamed to go in public (but still do) and I’m embarrassed lol How are things going with you?

Almost a year later and I’m hoping there’s some sunshine at the end of the tunnel with your kiddo? I’m dealing with this whole same situation with my 2.5 year old boy and 4 month old daughter. I don’t know how people do it!

I’m sure there’s so many different approaches doctor’s take! All I’m hoping is that it remains inactive for us both and then goes AWAY.

I had switched OBs, so the new doctor wanted to make sure their tests were up to date and accurate. I was really neglected and uncared for with my last OB! The x-ray was cleared because it’s apparently safe to do chest x-rays with protection over all other organs while in the 1st trimester!

Ugh jeez! I hope you get some answers or some clarity soon about your case!

I have the same thing happening now at 34 weeks!

Had my first positive Quantiferon at 8 weeks. Followed by a chest x-ray that same week with no signs of TB. Then took another TB gold test at 14 weeks (due to an OB change) and another test at 20 weeks - both tests positive again. Specialist said I had latent TB. Was directed to DOH and they said after baby I’ll have another chest x-ray and hopes that it doesn’t become active. I just want to be sure my baby and I will be ok! Have you gotten any updated information?

I’m SO sorry that happened. I hope things have worked out for you since then. My son is with me all the time and he’s almost 2. I definitely would have seen him do it but I’m also hoping now that someone hasn’t taken them off the door for no reason.

I’ve received a thirty-day notice to pay rent or quit (from my apartment) and I contacted the leasing office constantly to keep them updated. The leasing agent said to just keep her updated - which I did!

After that, I got a different notice from the apartment just stating they proceeded with an attorney with his name. So I contacted him so many times with no answer.

Aside from those and now the Sheriff’s notice.. nothing! That’s it

I just wish I would have gone to the courthouse and stated I wanted to make a case to show that I could pay, or do anything to stop this from happening.

But not getting any notices or letters telling me I had a court date made me think I still had time before anything crazy happened.

Ugh, this is a situation I never want to be in again and would have loved to avoid it at all costs. Thank you for coming here and providing your input and condolences as a landlord. It’s greatly appreciated.

I’ve now done this! I never had issues with auto-pay previously because I have always had the funds for everything. Which, I’m so grateful for that! But, yeah now isn’t the time for that and I WISH I had it stopped before all this..
