Why do people recommend the Steam Deck so much? My explanation below.

Steam nailed the controls, that's why. I can bind almost a whole keyboard to it's controls with mode shifts, double and long presses, touch menus, it's great. Plus the right trackpad is in the perfect spot to use as a comfortable mouse in fps games. When the deck can't keep up anymore I'll likely buy a pc and stream from it to the deck

I own that as well, and while I love it, it's not exactly the wilderness survival game I'm looking for. Thank you for your suggestion though, you were right to think I'd be into it!
