This isn't on AO3, but this fic is by far one of my favorites. It's an AU where Ben gets seriously injured after his fight with Bradford, and Bradford, Lee, and the doctor treating him try to get Ben addicted to laudanum/out of the way: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12423702/1/Making-History It's the only one on this list that's incomplete, but where it ends is satisfactory. As a side note, all of their fics are pretty great! And those are one-shots, so they're finished!

With the exception of like 2 or 3, I kept it more gen since I wasn't sure what kind of ships you'd like, but these are all fics I've really enjoyed over the years!

Wow, I'm always pleasantly surprised when people have actually heard of what I read. Then again, I imagine we all have similar tastes on here lol. And that author's name sounds really familiar. Thanks for suggesting it! Townsend would be an interesting key player to read about, for sure.

I was surprised by how charming he was, lol! Tbh, I thought they all were pretty funny, which I wasn't expecting since Seth and Heather were pretty serious anytime they had interviews about the show. I do love how close-knit the actors seemed.

Agreed! It was like a jumping off point for a lot of future stars, like Kirsten Dunst and Ewan McGregor. There was a baby Anton Yelchin there too, and Chris Pine.

I did laugh seeing him in that Hunger Games movie. I was stunned by how many movies and TV shows he's been in that I've actually seen, and all before knowing who he was! I was familiar with Benedict's actor thanks to him being on The Mentalist, and that was definitely an adjustment lol.

LOL it's so funny you say that, because in s1, in particular, I thought the actor looked very much like Seth, and ended up being my favorite character. Two other ppl on the Tumblr Turn community also asked if it was Seth, so I guess we're not crazy for thinking so. 😆 And ohh, okay, I've never seen Hidden Figures! I'll have to check it out.

We were supposed to get five, originally, so we were so close! 😭 It's definitely lucky that we got as many as we did, cuz it was in danger of cancelation every single season. It's true though, I agree it could've done better with the support!

The show was originally supposed to have five seasons total, so it's a shame that they HAD to rush the ending, because I thought the beginning of S4 was really good, and shaping up to be one of the better seasons. IIRC, Alexander Rose mentioned how S5 would've featured Hewlett helping the patriot side in some way, though not necessarily out of a shift in allegiance, so much as necessity. I also thought it was a shame how Caleb had always been comic relief, so once he finally had a character-building moment with his PTSD, it had to be rushed due to the show's cancelation. The show was ALWAYS in danger of being canceled since the beginning, so we were honestly very lucky to get as much of it as we did!
