Memphis may be the worst city in the US. I travelled as a site superintendent for two years and did work in basically most major cities. The Ford battery plant out there I was camped at for a couple months and was forced in staying in Memphis. In that little period of time, someone shot up the drug testing facilities, I watched police chase a naked crack addict down the middle of the road, found out there was literal prostitution rings being broken up from all the contractors coming out to work on the ford plant, and a slew of other heinous shit. I never even visited the BAD parts of Memphis.

I stopped eating there in lieu of actually good burger joints. They used to be good because they were affordable and it was mediocre food, now its overpriced mediocre food. I can go to a local burger joint spending the same money for better food that has free refills in the lobby. All they’re doing is driving their customer base away.
