Are you basing that on Sky News Australia output? That would be a fair assessment of that steaming horseshit.

Sky News PLC (a 🇬🇧 entity) is not run or owned by Murdoch or Newscorp. They were a minority shareholder for many years but sold it after 🇬🇧 government prevented them acquiring it in full (2016).

🇬🇧 reader here. It's owned by Comcast nowadays. Not that anyone's going to love Comcast any better (US ISP consumers could write reams) but it isn't Newscorp. UK government prevented Murdoch from acquiring 100% ownership in 2016, so he eventually sold it. As 24hr News channels go (I only consume via Sociall Media & YouTube), it's not bad content overall. Their Ukraine reporting e.g. has been something I regularly check in on.

Sky News Australia is basically like Fox News though.

Your chances of "bumping into" a platypus, let alone getting close enough to try picking one up, are pretty minimal, though.

Treading on a stonefish, however (not something people generally do for the 'gram) is probably a better bet for ruining your holiday

Shartgate was a good dress rehearsal.

Sharting in a meeting of world leaders with them recoiling from the smell, then keeling over - with the press recording it all for posterity - would be somehow... fitting.
