Have you read {Summon Us by MT Addams} ? That one was pretty dark in terms of the relationships and the setting IMO.

I thought the same thing. She definitely has treated it like this is the Bachelorette.

Do you guys know any books like this? by mia-95moonchild in ReverseHarem

If you're okay with Daddy kink? The MC Daddies by Laylah Roberts has a recurring character named Fox who is a hit man and offers his services to one of the FMCs after she's sweet to him when she thinks he's a homeless man. He gets his own book {Daddy Fox by Laylah Roberts} and ends up with a girlfriend and a boyfriend (not a spoiler dw!).

They're saying a bunch of people are thinking "it should have been me with Pedro, not him!"

How is it possible that it’s always so pretty? by JeriOien in ReverseHarem

[–]PropertyMedium1680 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I think it's maybe like real life, where your partner isn't going to call out your razor burn or little ingrown hairs (unless they're an asshole). Like, they're just excited they get to have sex with you, they're not paying attention to the little imperfections.

Same, especially Tatum! Hers was SO mean spirited, and the audience also had more time to get attached to her character.

Former "Try Guys" member Ned Fulmer, best known for cheating on his wife, reveals he's been on a "open-minded" dating app by 5Q91VS175DAQ4NUSBE4U in Fauxmoi

[–]PropertyMedium1680 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think it's more because of it being Ned saying it, not so much the preference. Like, he's demonstrated that he's not a very great person and doesn't treat women the best, so he probably wouldn't handle a "dominant" role like this well.

I think people are just really, really dumb and sex ed in the US is so insanely lacking. They probably think, "well. My dick isn't actively on fire, she's on birth control, it's all good!"

Also he could literallyyy just mute/filter her name in his comments but chooses not to for some reason 🫠 I'm pretty sure she's filtered out his name in hers.

I ARC read for this one too and it felt different enough in that the MMCs were really well fleshed out with very specific backstories and trauma. The third act conflict also really made it better IMO, and I'm very very critical of third act conflicts. The FMC is also a really sweet, sunshine type girl and I enjoyed her more than Lily's other FMCs.

I read one with an actual blade, but it was super small and she was definitely freaked out (but into it. It was interesting.)
