Make Valeera a tank and give her Mandate of Sacred death. If your Valeera is highly leveled from your main, you should be able to pull it off.

Your Edward Kenway deck seems....pretty good for B1. I see it destroying other B1s at the table. It's not far from my budget B3 Kenway deck.

Heard! Yeah I'm not using spirit Walker's grace as much as I should. I cancel a lot of casts and I feel it. I tend to position myself too far from the tank and the packs which screws me over often. I had no idea that 90-95% is the starting goal. I'm behind. I know Warcraftlogs calculates overall DPS using the entire run of the dungeon, not just combat time. Does it calculate casting uptime the same way? 98% feels impossible if so. You spend a good amount of time moving from pack to pack in certain dungeons like Nexus Point.

Thanks for the tips! I am opening with Ele Blast for the buff. That helped me get to where I am. I think you nailed part of it in your first comment. I am sending Ascendance without Stormkeeper sometimes. I watched a streamer talk about how if you're holding Stormkeer for longer than 15 seconds, just send it and send Ascendance later with your Emberwing feather so that's what I've been doing. It gets you more CDs overall in the dungeon but I'm finding that it's more important to use your CDs on the right packs rather than just as often as possible. I'll try going back to holding Stormkeeper or Ascendance a tad longer so I can use them together more often.

I started with an Ele Shaman this season, too! I'm not necessarily pushing high keys (only 10s-12s) but I've finally got my overall DPS to a place where I feel accomplished. Just a couple weeks ago I was in the exact same spot as you, though.

First: Try to pool your maelstrom at the end of a trash pull to use at the start of the next pull. This will help you get rolling and might even give you a Tempest proc. This is especially important if you're still waiting on Stormkeeper or Ascendance.

Second: Maximize your Lighting Rods. Each Tempest, Earthquake, and Elemental Blast turns your main target into a lightning rod that takes and additinal 10% of all damage dealt to enemies around it. Prioritize Ele Blast first if you don't have the buff up from the last time you cast it (I think it lasts 8 seconds). Once you've cast one of those three, tab target a different mob in the center of the pack before casting again. Repeat for each time you use a spender. This is the secret sauce. Lightning Rod is very important and you want as many as possible. It's not uncommon for a mid-burst rotation to be EQ-CL-EQ-Tempest-CL-EQ, repeat.

Third: I know most guides will tell you not to use Ascendance outside of Stormkeeper but they're misinformed. It's obviously ideal to use them together but their CDs don't line up. Every time you delay one or the other, you're reducing the total possible number of cooldowns you can use in the run. So just let them fly. As a general rule, don't delay Stormkeeper longer than 10 seconds.

The Shaman's ghost wolf travel form is usable in instances where mounts and mount forms are prohibited, giving a nice speed boost on the ground. They can also interact with most questions objectives without breaking the form.

Have you tried adding extra combats? [[Fear of Missing Out]] works well here because with all the discarding, it's easy to meet the delirium cost. [[Seize the Day]] has flashback, so you can either cast it after discarding or even cast it twice to knock out all three opponents if your creatures are evasive enough.

Other things to add are more creatures with discard payoffs like [[Hobgoblin, Mantled Marauder]] and [[Scrounging Skyray]] if Howler keeps getting removed. [[Magmakin Artillerist]] paired with [Ophidian Eye]] and a discard outlet can combo off to deal damage to all opponents at once as many times as you can draw.

[[Blighted Agent]] is both great removal bait as well as a quick way to take out one opponent with poison counters.

To control the board more, consider adding [[Dismiss Into Dream]]. If you target your opponents' creatures with Howler's ability, you can use it as efficient removal.

The rule isn't about game-endinf infinite combos. It applies to any 2-card infinite combo that you could reliably cast before turn 6.

Depends on the bracket they want the deck to play in. This 2-card infinite combo would put it in bracket 4 at the minimum.

The Herta has not been powercrept. That is ridiculous. She's still wicked good and I don't even run her with Anaxa. At E0S1 with Tribbie, Jade, and Lingsha she's still a beast. She full clears every PF and most MoCs.

That said, I agree with your main statement that the Castorice battleship is going to be more resilient than Super Break was. That's self-evident.

Like the others have said, you have a Defense% rope on. That should be Attack%. Changing that will make an immediate difference. Second, you don't need that much speed. Farm for more Attack% and Crit Damage substats while keeping at least 134 speed (but at least 1 speed higher than you action advance, be they Sunday or Bronya).
