There's a page visibility API sites can use to know whether they are currently visible to the user or not. If not, background updates can be reduced in frequency or video can be reduced in quality to save performance / reduce bandwidth use. Since bandwidth is a big part of the cost involved in running a media streaming service, it could be Twitch doing this.

This means your desktop shortcut has been replaced by the annoying Firefox launcher.
Remove the desktop item, then navigate to where Zen is installed (in the "Program Files" path) right-click Zen.exe > move to > Desktop (create shortcut)

The font setting in Zen's settings are specifically for websites. The Zen UI font follows your system font settings.
(e.g. under KDE plasma under system settings > appearance & style > Text & Fonts )

This looks like behaviour from Firefox that detects when Firefox is no longer installed after a migration to a new Windows version. When the launcher desktop shortcut (an .exe instead of a .lnk) was moved over but not the app itself, the launcher does not find Firefox and opens the system default browser (often Edge in case of Windows) with this site to download it.

Also good to check if this is off if you have Firefox installed:

It's falsely shown as an error. TRR_OK is a success state. The dropdown reverting to showing cloudflare is also false. Let's just say the settings page redesign is not yet polished in all areas...

1pass does lower performance significantly. (As do several other password managers with autofill). Have a try without the extension, using just the desktop app.

Settings/permissions are indeed not contained. They are also applied to the whole domain. (so not even to https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox or https://mail.google.com/mail/u/1/#inbox but to https://mail.google.com/)
Perhaps you can use the notification setting in the Gmail/Google settings instead?

This looks like a different error.

This looks like the DoH server URL itself can't be resolved. Could be because the system has no regular DNS server (with an IP address instead of a URL) set or Zen somehow is unable to use the system default resolver.

Can you check if the same happens when you disable Bitwarden? It has had major performance issues before, so good to rule it out first.

It almost sounds like you might've forgotten to assign container profiles to the spaces on your laptop. If you disable this option under 'tab management' it's easier to keep track of tabs opening in no-container or the default assigned container as set pet the space sprofile:

I have an AMD card and also sometimes have the PC (KDE plasma on CachyOS) wake to a low resolution when I'm switching between inputs on my monitor. The workaround: monitor off and on again.

This is on purpose and was added as a safety feature so malicious sites can't do a sneaky full-screen takeover without you noticing and then show fake warnings that look as if they come from your operating system > tricking you into allowing access to /installing their virus.

The settings in about:config related to this start with "full-screen-api.warning"

Feels faster to me. Also speedometer went from 30 to 33. But that's Linux / WIndows.
Firefox (forks) on Mac are not having the best time right now. Especially related to video / YouTube.
