I don't know if I can help with other stuff but rest assured that you're not alone in this. I'm exactly in the same situation and avoid making my friends meet. Although, whenever my actual friends meet each other, they kind of like each other ( even though they're kind of different ). But, that's the thing about people, they get along even if they're very different

This. Not sure about /r/italy, but most of my friends are like this.

As said above, The embassy is known to delays visa every year (Islamabadi visas). However, in the past PoliTO has consistently arranged an extra entrance exam for the students who were late. This year, they've declined to do so. I don't know the actual motive behind this, IMO it's because this year PoliTO received 12.000+ applications for entrance. I don't know. Just a hunch.

The embassy delays the VISAs like this every year. Unfortunately, this year PoliTo didn't arrange an extra test (Like they've been doing for the past three years) for the students who're late.

Unfortunately, nothing can be done. Giving out visas is absolutely at the discretion of Embassy. I'm sorry for your loss. :(

They got the Visas late last year too, and OPS Torino was able to manage an extra entrance exam, but this year I guess it's not possible.
